2018 Cleveland Action Plan

The Cleveland Climate Action Plan: Building Thriving and Resilient Neighborhoods for All – is about much more than climate change. It will improve outcomes in health, access to green jobs, resiliency, and engagement through equitable climate action planning and implementation. It builds off previous work by establishing cross-cutting priorities: (1) racial equity, (2) green jobs, (3) resilience, and (4) business leadership. Over the course of this update, the City of Cleveland and its partners engaged over 450 people through the Climate Action Advisory Committee, neighborhood workshops, and a public comment period. This work also supported 22 resident-led, neighborhood-based projects with matching funds and technical capacity.
